The aim of these illustrations included carrying themes mentioned within the poem to encapsulate the change in seasons over the course of the year. I decided to choose key themes mentioned within the poem written by Hanan and to surround the snippet of the poem with those visualised. Combining my style of the use of tactility and hand-drawn elements complimented the brief to get a balance between capturing the essence of the poem as well as engaging the Arts and Heritage audience with the illustrations being used on social as well.
